As a developer I love to see how the contribution I made to a project helps getting the final product done. Always learning with every project.
Migrating old (duplicate) data with lots of (old) broken references from multiple databases to a single point of truth while maintaining data integrity and reworking the old codebases to work with the newly reworked datasets. Creating a backend API that allows the retrieval of data formatted specifically for each requesting application and to allow these applications to create orders and manage payments for these. Created an SDK to easily use the created API in the requesting applications.
BedumWorking on many different applications and websites for lots of different clients. Working out new types of components and modules. Adding features to existing ones. Making suggestions and holding discussions about the core system and open pull requests. Creating packages for customers so we can easily re-use custom work already done for them on another project.
GroningenCreating and maintaining applications in a stack of microservices which communicate using API's and webhooks. Communicating with the technical and functional manager, thinking out the best way to get to the finish line.
KollumDuring my study this has been my part-time job on the side. Mostly focussed on sales, repairs, and after sales. During this time I also worked on my exam project called Leapprepairs. A system to allow easy track of all the customer brought repairs within the company. After finishing my exam I started working full-time.
GroningenCreating and maintaining web applications written with the Laravel framework.
GroningenStarted as an intern. Ended as the 'Head of Technical Service'. For my internship at MyCom most of the time I was busy doing repairs on broken notebooks and computers that customers brought to us. When the store was flooded with people I had to jump by as a salesman. At the end of the internship I was asked to work fulltime and become the 'Head' of that department. From that point it was my job to coordinate the repairs that were taken in and make sure every repair gets done in time. Continuously having contact with suppliers and customers to keep sure ordered parts for some repairs would get here in time and keep the customers informed about the status.
GroningenHere i learned to program. Mostly aimed on web (php) applications, but given the opportunity to learn C# and Java in class.
